possible to re-use bifold doors

Hi, i'm thinking of a single storey extension at the rear of the property that we moved into 4 months ago. The previous owner had new metal bifold doors fitted in 2007 which go out onto the garden. Is it possible to re-use these doors and have them fitted to the new extension as they are still relatively new? Or is there a reason that once fitted it's not possible to take out of the wall and re-use.

Also, what is the usual life for bifold doors (10,15, 20 years??).

Can't see why they can not be used again.

I would get a fitter to remove and refit

No physical reason, you would do well to get BC on your side about it early on though.
