I am putting up a couple of 8' fence posts for a 6' fence and using 'post fix' for the job. It's the first time I'm doing it, so I followed the instructions on the bag, it told me to dig down to a spade and half depth, stand the post in the hole, pour in two litres of water and then empty the bag of post fix into that.
When I poured the water in, it didn't even fill half way, but I carried on as instructed and emptied the 'post fix' into it.
I'm a bit worried that nothing will set, because the post fix mix wasn't really wet, apart from the fact that it rained for a couple of hours after I fitted it.
Am I worrying for nothing?
Cheers folks
Terry

we normally pour water on the post mix on afterwards when we use it. It will soak up the moisture from the ground and the rainfall and go off so dont worry

Thanks, eased my mind a lot. I'm doing the rest of them today, so I'll know what to do now :D
