Hi, I am looking for either a granite effect or a black gloss type of finish.
If all else fails i will have to use a solid oak and profile it myself.

You can only perform the post-forming operation along straight edges. If you need a gloss black with a curved, profiled end then your only option may well be solid surface (Corian, Hi-Macs, etc)
