While browsing through the posts in general discussions, 'Respect For Van Drivers' I find that the page is far too wide for my screen. What causes this and please dont tell me to buy a bigger screen.

That's because Steve did not reduce the size of his picture of the Tranny van when he uploaded to Photobucket.
It is 1024 x 768 and he could have saved it on Photobucket as a 800 x 600 picture size and it would have fitted nicely on the page.

dave is correct. An alternative would have been to post the photo to the photo album on here. Then the pictures start as thumbnails and will scale when enlarged to the size of your screen (providing their big enough)
