longdogs

I planted some pink fir apple potatoes back in April (A bit late but the weather was cr8p).

The plant has just flowered and probably ready to be harvested. the problem is that I am off on two weeks holiday from Sunday.

So is it best to wait until I get back (bearing in mind the weather will be hot next week and they will not be watered. Or, should I dig them up and leave them in the fridge for two weeks?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Leave 'em in the ground - most spuds are ready when the tops start to die off, though to be truthful I am not sure about p firs.

PFA planted in April won't be ready yet, flowers or not. 16 weeks at least to harvest. Worth the wait though, PFA are my all-time favourite!
