Hiya,

I'm not entirely sure this is the correct forum, but since most kitchen work is considered carpentry I thought it best.

Anyway, I am looking for a nifty gadget that can be slid open and closed, much like a draw, which will have a 2 poles between the rails. Then I can use traditional s hooks to actually hang them.

If you look at the picture, the space i'm hoping to utilise is above the fridge/freezer. It is ideal in that it has plenty of space, but not ideal for small people to access!

Now those with a keen eye will see the boxing in for the pipes; I purposely made this the same depth as the chimney breast (even though the pipe work doesn't fill it), so the plan is to mount the rails to the boxwork frame.

However i'm not sure if there's anything on the market that will fit, so it's probably a DIY job, only i'm not sure the best way to go.

Unless somebody knows of a better system? Obviously the easy thing to do is just mount 2 fixed poles but then little people (even adults) won't be able to reach.

Thanks
