Potterman Pr1maF Gas Boiler problem starting up.

The symptoms are that it is taking several attempts for the main burner to fire, it always does eventually though.

I can hear the extractor winding up to speed followed by the pilot light clicking several times before giving up and the extractor winding down again. It then pauses for a few seconds before doing it all over again.

Once the main burner is going, everything seems normal.

Any ideas?

Sounds PCB like to me with the fan stopping and starting...........Ive changed quite a few for this fault.

As long as the APS is OK, it's most likely a capacitor on it's way out on the pcb
