I was wondering if some one could help.

Have a potterton 80e "I think is a e" Couple of days ago, was running a bath nice and hot, when turned taps off, heared all the pipes rattleing above me,

(bolier in the loft)

Upon checking the lock out was light up and lost at alot of pressure. topped the water back up, reset and next day has done the same,

The heating can be one gor hours, turned off and back on and no noise, is only when you run hot water and then stop.

It sounds like a fault with the DHW flow switch.

The results can be rather dramatic!
