My daughter's boiler is showing the above fault code, and isn't starting up.
I would appreciate any advice...
She has a shared ownership flat, which was new in 17 months ago.
Many thanks,
Michael

Might still be under warranty, give potterton a call if the voltage turns out to be ok.

If the property is still under defect period, get the house builder back.

One thing is certain that the supply frequency is going to be correct if it is connected to the mains grid!

Thank you very much for the replies.
Potterton came out promptly under their warranty. They said it was rare fault, and replaced the control board.
I agree that the fault code description was spurious, and the mains frequency must have been fine at 50Hz.
Maybe she should get a Potterton extended warranty?

The Assure is aimed at developers and hence sold with the legal minimum warranty of 2 years.

The pcb is designed and manufactured by an Italian company called Bertelli & Partners...save for a few modifications it was utilised in a previous boiler range (the Gas Adaptive combustion)
and the system sold to many boiler manufacturers where it was very problematic and duly dumped.
Given the hopeless design (including a truly awful cheap and nasty gas valve design) I'd have little confidence in the error codes being anything more than a very basic guide.
Now with the more conventional and proven gas valve found in the Assure it should hopefully be a little more reliable.

So many boiler makes and models over the years have had regular faults with circuits which attempted to help diagnosis and instead gave false indications or in some cases just an indication fault on its own when nothing was wrong.
