Hi everyone. I appolagise for my first post being a question but i wasn't aware of this forum until i had an issue that needed fixing, hopefully i'll be of some help in areas other than plumbing

The issue i have is with a Potterton Puma 100E. I noticed the heating was off so i promptly went to turn the boiler on but there was no power to it, no lights of similar so i called a plumber friend. When he had a look at it he could smell gas so he checked at the meter for a drop in pressure which there was. He eliminated the gas to the boiler and there was no more loss of pressure. So in theory i have two issues, correct? one being a gas leak in or around the boiler and one being the lack of power to the boiler it's self.
If anyone could shed some light on my dyer situation i would really appreciate it.
Regards
Dan

EDIT: for a few day prior to the loss of power etc i was having a loud sort of "woof" when the boiler was igniting (i think)

Working on a gas ch boiler is not a diy job, call out someone skiled.
