potterton boiler no heating

Hi people
i have a potterton 80 ,perm thermastat. For hot water boiler fine, first thing in morning heating great untill someone turns on hot water tap then the heating will not come back on again

Have changed just about all parts i can, fan, pump. themo coupling,dhw,switches but no joy i am no looking to change psb board as last resort before turning to that good old fashion tool 14 pound hammer.
Any advise please (not on the hammer).

Oh pressure ok although i do have a leak some where and have to keep repressurising about every 3 days

diverter possibly? This is the same as the Puma I think in design with the wax capsule DV. Somebody will hopefully confirm.

Potty 80 combi (or combi 80) is the budget version of the puma.

excuse my Ignorance but is the diverter valve on the right hand side of bolier and have a red plastic cap on and has the pressure gauge attached if so have changed this

Hi yea change the whole unit. Bloke in shop said if i had twisted the cap should replace that as well

Hi mate i think between £70 and £80 quid

check the microswitch on the cold water inlet, may be sticking after tap turned off, (will stop htg working) which should then mod. down thru thermistor.
