Hello,
I have just moved in to a house that has a potterton netaheat 10-16 boiler.
The system is gravity feed on Hot water.
The central heating has TRVs fitted.
There is a Randall 3060 timer\controller fitted.
I cannot see any motorized valves????!!!

I would like to fit a room stat and a hot water tank stat.

Now the question is....
I have found an instruction manual for the timer (now made by Danfoss), and it shows the wiring for a room stat and a hot water tank stat.
I have purchased the room stat and tank stat mentioned in the instructions, so in theory, can I just wire the system as per instructions and it will work?
Will this damage the boiler? of which I have no instructions
Should I look out for anything??

Any help most appreciated.
Thanks.

Look on the Honeywell site for a "C" plan. Bit of a bodge as I remember.

Hello EliteHeat..
Thank you for your reply.. I was looking at this 'C' Plan, although I dont have the zone valve.
The instructions for the timer I have, uses the change over contact of the tank stat to bring the boiler on, so if the tank does not require heating the boiler is still aloud to power up and heat the rads.
Hope this make sense?

If you have just moved in and want to improve performance, you might as well make it fully pumped with a y-plan. Gravity fed is really a bit out of date. About 50 years
