Boiler : Potterton RS80 Kingfisher 2 - approx 1999 vintage.
Over the years, the white fibre seal around the little glass window has disintegrated. The window must have been removed in the past to light the pilot - the metal frame and glass are held by two screws.

What can I use to re-seal around the glass - need some sort of heatproof fibre mat or thin board that I can use to frame the glass ?
Can't use exhaust paste as the frame is suppopsed to be removable.

Thanks guys - ordered the 907166 part - it's called the viewing glass gaskett. Tried various web sites total cost was over £6 with postage.
Ordered at the local "Parts Centre" £2-23 should be in within 2-3 days.
(got to watch the pennies !!)
