Potterton Boiler

I have a Potterton boiler with a Honeywell programmer, it's worked well until these last couple of days, I've set it the same way and when I get up in the morning there is no central heating and no hot water, when I checked the programme all the times have gone back to zero. The same thing happened last night and I know for a fact the electric has not gone off. Can anybody tell me what's wrong with it please, as this is not the nicest time of the year to have no heating when you get up.

The different components will need to be tested individually. For example the programmer can be bypassed to check if it is working or not but you would need a degree of competence to do that.
