Hi,

I have a potterton controller in a new place I have just moved into.

When I switch the HW on the heating also comes on, how do I get it to work so I only get hot water and not the heating?

Also the hot waters runs out very quickly, any tips on how to prevent this? Should I run the HW function for a long time?

Any confused how the system works, as it seems I have a combi boiler which I though would provide hot water on demand but then I also have a pump and a tank.
