Hi - new user here. Looking to save myself from spending 100s pounds on Central Heating Engineer at time when trying to save for wedding in August. PLEASE HELP!
We moved into our flat in 2004 and have experienced no prblems to date with our Central Heating / Hot Water Potterton EP2001 - that is until Sunday 15th April.
Now the control screen is still lighting up and lights going red when hits time on or off however, there is no sound of a click and ignite, only of a click, thus no hot water or central heating.
Not really sure what to check next as have unlpugged the controller and it's made no difference when switched back on.
Has anyone come across this scenario before / have any suggestions (engineers are quoting >200 quid for call-out alone!!).
Would appreciate any help / guidance
