Hi,

Recently had a power cut which lasted for a few hours. When the power came back on my Potterton ep3001 control unit switched back on BUT now doesn't have a display / won't switch off unless you turn it off from the fuse / mains.

I suppose its better to have heat / hot water than not but I am worried about my gas bills.

I saw in some posts that I should press the + and - buttons to reset but my control unit doesn't have plus or minus buttons?

Any ideas?

Thanks

I wonder if a power surge has killed your programmer. Try electrically isolating the system and leave it turned off for as long as you reasonably can then turn it back on again. Look up the manufacturers instructions to see how to reset it

Leaving it switched off for a while did the trick. Thanks!
