potterton Fireside super gas pipe

Our Potterton fireside super fire was being serviced and the engineer overtightened the gas feed assembly pipe and split the flare. A collegue of his then tried to apply a new flare and messed it up a little. I think someone who knows how to do a propper flare to the pipe could rescue it but getting some one has proved a bit hard.

I would go for the originalpart but no one has it and it was declared obsolete in 2000. the part number is 301595.

If anyone knows of one or has an old fireside super I would be grateful or some one who can make one out of the aluminium bungee pipe. We have the old one for the fittings.

I would think a brake repair specialist would have the skills to make one for you. You could then have it refitted by your service man.

Got a refrigeration engineer to make the pipe up for a fiver. Nice job to, two curves in it. Offered it up fit like cinderellas slipper.
