Hi Guys.

Just reset our boiler due to low pressure, this happens about once ever two years, this time thought a lot of all i can describe as black water is coming out of the overflow pipe, is this going to be a problem, anyone had the same issue and if so what did you do, any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Pete

"Black water" indicates a serious fault and should be dealt with quickly before you get holes in your radiators.

Cleaning the system can involve power flushing!

Peter check you haven't left the filling left on! Pressure should be around 1 bar when systems cold! If that's all ok and pressure still rises and water still goes out O/Flow then there's a good chance the expansion vessel either needs repressurising or is fooked!

Thanks Guys,

Well the pressure is back to green, and just the odd drip, we have hot water and heating but unfortunately I am in Denmark this week so i am trying to get a local plumber to have a quick see, hard work trying to sort it though. I will let you know how i get on.

Cheers
Pete
