I have recently changed my pump from a Myson CP53 to a Grundfos 15/50 when I came to turning the system back on the boiler a Potterton Profile 40E starts up OK but then trips out after a couple of minutes and it wont reset until I turn the electrics back off. could this just be a case of an airlock in the system or something more.
Any help would be great.

Thanks

It sounds as if you failed to follow the instructions to spin the pump. Is it turning?

OR

One of the pumnp valves is stuck closed. Either has not been opened ot has broken inside.

OR

Airlock in the system. Turning pump to "3" might clear it.

Might need some checking by someone who knows about heating systems.
