potterton netaheat electronic

Hi
i have a potterton netaheat electronic gas boiler.
the problem is it starts up ok heats rads and water ok,and shuts down once the required temperature has been reached,which is fine,
but when the temperature drops and the boiler needs to restart,it wont it goes through start process...fan starting, sparking starts but boiler wont light.
it only restarts after about 1 hour when it has cooled right down then its ok

if anyone can shed some light on this problem

Unfortunately for you this is a gas/combustion related problem and we are not permitted to give advice on these on an open forum.

The obvious advice is to call a competent gas qualified engineer to diagnose the fault. KevinDGas who posts on here is in Southampton and reasonably priced.

Explain first which model it is as many now only want to replace them. They are repairable although some spares are getting difficult to find now.
