I HAVE A POTTERTON PERFORMA 28 LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD THE HOT WATER IS WORKING FINE BUT THE HEATING WONT KICK IN I HAVE TRIED MOVING THE ROOM THERMOSTAT BUT STILL NOTHING ANYONE ANY SUGGESTIONS

sorry this is new to me the power button is on at the front yes and when you turn on the tap the top lights go on

yes have turned it on . the panel also shows its on but nothing happens

then only other thing if turned up on boilers dial and turned on heating and hot water
chances are programmers gone

The last Performa 28 HE that I saw only had a mechanical time clock as the programmer.

This one has a digital programmer on the boiler could be that I suppose . The heating came on after midnight last night but wont go on again today .

Are you sure the day/time settings in it are correct?

They havent been changed since it was installed to my knowledge could the settings change any other way ?

It should not..........

But lightening or static discharges might cause them to change or it may not be operating correctly for some reason. Discharged backup battery?

You should certainly check the settings.
