Just looking for some valued advice please, I have a Potterton Performa 28i lately when the heating system is switched off the outlet to the radiators is still getting hot.
I think this must be to do with the diverter valve. What are the most common problem, is it the whole assembly or the motorised valve?
Everything is working as it should other than the radiators are always warm from the hot water side of the system.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I would change the DV valve body. Sounds like it is stuck. I've never had a head go yet.

Turn off flow and return taps under boiler, until your ready to change the diverter.

Not a nice job, not quite on a par with changing a cdi divertor but nearly

This is more for the trade guys here but the spring assembly in the performa 3 way valve can be replaced with a kit from an ariston microgenus. The gland nut that the motor clip into unwinds and the spring assembly can be removed and replaced.
