Potterton performa temp switch reaction

I have a Potterton Performa System.
If the temp switch is at 50% and I switch the temp to 100% should the boiler fire up straight away?
I have found that if I switch off the burner (after waiting 5mins) and back on with the temp switch at 100% the boiler fires up straight away.

Have I a problem or am I inpatient.

It's designed to do that - there are delays and hysteresis.
