Having to replace (well, repair in most cases) the stuffing box, as push rod leaks when h/water on.

P/Ton repair kits provide a diaphragm (which is replaced even if old one is not faulty), new stuffing box, metal washer and a small 'o' ring.

My question is...no 'o' ring to replace to why provide one?

Where the hell does it go?

personally i just replace the whole thing as its a damn site easier and less likely to leak plus i dont pay for the parts
