My Potterton Performa HE condensing combi is leaking from the mating piece between the diverter valve and diaphragm. There is a steady drip from the lowest grub screw hole which at the moment I have stuffed a drinking straw into to channel the water away. I have taken the diaphragm off and the leak appears to be coming from the diverter valve side from the small pushrod in the centre.
Is it possible to remove the section of diverter valve that the grub screws go into witht the valve in situ so that I can investigate futher? I have had a quick go at unscrewing it but it seems quite tight and I don't want to strain anything and create another leak elsewhere.
If I get the section off can anyone confirm that the Alpha 240 & 280 3 Way Valve Repair Kit 760 6.1000760 that has been mentioned elsewhere is what I need ?
