Sounds daft, but have you tried resetting the overheat thermostat ?

Thanks Ian, it will be life saver for me, if it is that simple. Only thing is I don't where it is how to reset it. Can you suggest please.
it is simple , under the plastic cover there is a small recess put your finger in and you will feel a small button , press it in anf if you feel a click that was your problem, if it doesnt click then it hasnt operated
