i have a potterton puma e combi boiler.... last winter the pressure gauge was reaching the red area then the safety valve was releasing water from the system,, i topped it up a number of times sometimes it was ok other times it would go just over number 2 on the gauge and many times it would reach the red area releasing water from safety valve,,,ha ha i was going to get it fixed over summer ,,,,old story ,,,,,anyway i turned it on few times the last few days and it is now just going straight to the red area in about 10 minutes,,,, possiblity expansion tank needs repressurised or the bladder has burst in the expansion vessel ???? if so would getting the vessel repressurised be included in a annual service?? or if a new vessel needs to be fitted how much would i be looking at to get that fitted ? ,,,, hope that is clear enough im brain dead at the moment ,,,,,the problem is just the heating not the hot water,,,,, cheers
