Hi, I hope someone can help!! When HW tap is on the boiler turns on and the red light on the PCB lights, but it turns off after about 30 seconds and the light goes off, if the tap is left running is relights after about a minute and then turns off after 30 seconds.

not excessively. The temp. can be turned with the boiler HW temp. control.
If I put the boiler on continuous the HW works OK, don't know if this helps.
The red light on the PCB indicates a demand for DHW.
If this goes out then it makes me conclude that the DHW flow switch is not staying activated any longer.
If you are competent then swing down the PCB carrier and watch the switch as you take hot water.
As an extreme test turn on the taps and short out the DHW demand switch and see if that makes it work normally.
ONLY touch the inside of the boiler when the power has been isolated!!!

Thanks. Where is the flow switch? I am competant electrically and have a test meter so hopefully I won't kill myself.
At the top right of the casing it says Puma 80, 80e and flowsure +. However it does have a swing down PCB and the differential or is it the flow switch (?) sits on the left of the diverter valve assembly.
you are probably right, I have no idea, as this is the first Puma I have seen.
If the diaphragm has gone faulty can I change just the diaphragm and where can I get it. Won't have a chance to do anything till next weekend as the boiler is in my sons house.

sorry for the long delay. As the boiler is in my sons house in Bournemouth and I live in London, I took a diverter valve wax capsule and a flowswitch with me. I have changed both and the problem is still there, Boiler lights but won't stay on. Any ideas? I am going to B'mouth again weekend after next.

It seems that you are not answering our questions clearly and you are changing parts that we have not asked you to change?
I dont think that I am going to bother to try to help you any more but I would still be interested to know exactly why you decided to change the waxstat when we have not even mentioned it?
