Hi,

I have a Potterton Puma 80. The pilot light stays on as expected during normal operation, but if it is used under load for a longer periods, e.g. to fill a bath, or for back-to-back showers, then the pilot light usually goes out. I have had problems in the past with the pilot light going out, but I believe that the pilot assembly has been replaced?

Any thoughts, and if obvious, what would the cost of repair be?

Regards

Ron.

It sounds as if its overheating during DHW usage.

You could check to see if the pump runs during DHW use. A pcb fault sometimes stops it.
