The pilot light went out yesterday and as soon as I re-light it and then turn on the boiler the pilot goes out. This happens for both the heating and the hot water. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joffa.

Not a diy job I'm afraid.
Could be thermocoupler or gas valve which will need a heating engineer to look at :)

Could it be anything to do with the DHW valve that was cleaned recently.

Its probably the pilot coming off the thermocouple when main flame fires up, usually due to a poor or partially blocked pilot , either way its a CORGI engineers job to repair. Thermocouple cools as pilot comes off it and shuts down the gas valve.

Good luck....
