Ive had this issue for nearly a year now. I have replaced the flow switch (just the micro-switch)before as once the hot water tap was switched off, the led on the main board never went out and the boiler over-boiled, rattled and switched off every time.

I have adjusted the switch but if I adjust it slightly more it over-boils again. If I adjust it the other way, it fails to provide hot water.

As I mentioned, Ive replaced the switch (was an easy job) but do you think it needs the main flow switch replacing? Would that provide constant hot water at a constant temperature?
If so, is it an easy job?

many thanks,
Tc

It sounds as if the diaphragm unit is faulty.

But like everything in the world there are several possible causes of the problem!

No problem for me but for you?

Tony

If the pin in the flow switch isn't moving cleanly, several mm, the fs is faulty.
