Potterton Puma 80e - Lockout problem

Hi, Today I wasn't getting any hot water and upon locking at the boiler the lockout light has came on.
Both Hot water and Heating will not function.

When I turn the boiler ( power ) the Lockout light remains off, then when I turn on hot water or c/h theres the usual " clunk"and then there is a series of small "clicks" and then the lockout light appears.

Would the small series of clicks be the boiler trying to ignite and failing or something else?
Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks

i'd get someone in mate. it sounds gas valve or pcb or overheat stat problem. when the potterton puma electronic ignition starts it should light the pilot if not then i reckon its gas valve if it is then perhaps pcb.. hope that helps.
