POTTERTON SUPREMA 50

Hi. Can you help. I have a potterton suprema 50 boiler. keeps going on lock out . Told to change pcb and over heat + thermister. Fine ,now it works better,i just have to reset it every 8to9 hours instead of every 1to2hours , can anyone give me a solution.

What PCB did you use? and where did you get it?

Could also (or have always been) circulation/over run/sludge fault

Has it been gas rated - not unusual to find they are burning too much gas.

Has the pump been wired to the boiler.

What zone valve(s) have you got, it's often necessary to have a bypass valve.

Could be the pump now playing up, circulation must be there as your rads are all ok ?. So as the o/h stat was changed, the old one may have been cutting in alot earlier than needed

No it cant be a faulty board its a Suprema,The faulty ones are Suprima

on some databadges Bax they did indeed spell it suprema
