Potterton supreme 80 problem

Fan comes on and boiler lights flow pipe roasting return pipe cold then boiler shuts down pump not coming on got pump changed today still same problem anyone no problem.

Why would you not test pump before changing it !!!

that person is a tw@t for saying its a definite being behind a computer , unless of course it depends on the details you've given him . keep changing parts until its fixed, dont worry you'll get there

That's a good idea.

By changing expensive parts in turn you will eventually end up curing the fault.

However, it could be cheaper to engage a boiler engineer to correctly diagnose the fault first.

I will echo Tony's Responce. Good idea. Start changing parts. You will be able to fix your boiler.

Very unlikely to be a boiler fault

But by changing everything in turn you will eventually end up with it working again.

just think you could of just put multimeter on pump to see if getting 240v instead of getting a PCB , where are you buying or acquiring spares ?
if you want help you need to know how to use a multimeter , can you ???????

if you can't stop messing with the boiler and it will probably be cheaper to find a repair engineer
