Potterton Suprima 30 Shorting Out

I have a Potterton Suprima 30 and for the last month or so it has been sporadically failing to light. A press of the reset button resurecting it again.

Now it has fused out the timer box after attempting to light twice. Changed out the fuse for the timer box and again it tried to light and blew the fuse.

I have been told it could be the pump (weres that generally located).

Any ideas.

IN the airing cupboard? Loft?
Could the boiler have locked out because the pump didn't start - which would make the boiler overheat and lock out quite quickly?
