potterton suprima "lockout"

hi ya all,urgent help needed!!!!! my 10 year old potterton suprima 60 boiler is in trouble,it wont fire up from cold,i need to stand by it and press the reset button as many as 10 times to get it to run,it then works perfect as long as it isn't switched off for long periods(in my case 3-4hours) and allowed cool down.
it had a new siemens pcb fitted 4years ago
any thoughts people,your help and advice will be greatly appreciated

If it had the revised PCB fitted then whilst it might be that ffailed it might also be something else.

However, as its a safety/combustion issue I cannot give you detailed advice as it requires a qualified gas engineer to check it.

as long as pcb is new version its likely to be the gas valve IMO.
