If you are having intermitant faults with these boilers just re-solder the joints to sockets/plugs on the PCB Faults WILL BE cured 99.9999999% of the time
 
CORGI tell us that we are not to "repair" PCBs !!!

Perhaps you are not CORGI registered?

These statements are not only tempting uninformed users to take risks. They are also gnerally untrue!
The most common problem on Suprima (old style) PCBs is blown diodes, not header pin problems
In my experience, the Profile PCB is quite reliable and not prone to any specific, easily fixed problem.
 
best bloody boiler potty ever made the old profile is, hate having to change them
