potterton suprima time constant

roughly how long should it take for the internal flowline thermostat to operate (ie, to fire the gas) on a suprima gas boiler?

mine *seems* to be working (at least I cannot find any other reason why the boiler turns off) but I was surprised that the boiler did not start immediately when I turned the knob from minimum setting to max.

should it be immediate?

or does the pcb have long hysteresis built in?

There is an anticycle delay built in. Probably about three minutes but this can vary when the old PCB gets old!

With the new PCB the boiler is much more reliable and does whats expected.
