Potterton Surpima 60-L

Can anyone give me some advice please. I have a Potterton Suprima that is about five years old. It had a new PCB about 2 or thee years ago. It is not firing up as per the programmer and just sits there with an constant orange light when the programmer is set to off and a flashing orange light when the programmer is set to on. It seems to burst into life and heat up where not expecting it but it not even doing that now. It does not respond to any of the heating commands which would normally override everything.
Any ideas?

try turning on HW and CH at programmer, room stat right up and boiler stat to max - see what happens
