Powe shower query

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to fit a pressure redcucer to mains pressure water and then fit a power shower.
I already have mains pressure water in the location i want to put a shower, but it would save alot of work running new pipework from the cold water tank. Jusy wondered if anyone had ever heard of it being done.

Powe shower, is that the Red Indian model ? thought they were killed off long ago by the great white man.

You could use the 'Right Single Pump':

It allows you ot pump only the hot water. Provided your thermostatic shower mixer can cope with the pressure imbalance between the hot and cold feeds (mains could be anywhere from 1 to 3 bar) this would work fine.

I now understand that the W.R.A.S dictates that mains water cannot be pumped under any circumstances & contravention could result in a fine.

So, has anyone done what iep suggested & used mains water combined with pumped hot water in a mixer type shower set-up ???
