power calibration error

your burner is more than likely on it's way out. you could try and update the firmware on it and see if that will extend its life, i did with mine once but i only delayed the inevitible. desktop or laptop? does it burn CDs ok?
Do you get the same result using a different media?
Have you tried burning at a lower speed?
Is the lens clean?
