Power flush advice

Hello. Aftter more problems with our baxi 105e we have been told by the latest engineer we need to have our pipes power flushed. Firstly, is it best to get a pro for this? Secondly if so, please could someone leave a rough est price fot the North East area England. I know this may be open varation.

another question whilst we're on the topic:-
Is it easy to flushout the DHW circuit of a combi boiler, using a powerflush machine hired from HSS or whoever ? i.e. going in through the cold water supply and out of the DHW ? would I do this with the boiler on but the thermostat turned to cold ?
My hot water isn't as hot as it was, and i'm in quite a hard water area, so think that the secondary heat exchanger is a little fouled up
