Power from light switch?

Hi

Just need to attach an outsiide light to the lighting ring?

I have a ceiling rose which has 1 pendant light. I have traced an additional 1mm T&E to the 1 way light switch. The outside light is to be connected to this switch, there will therefore be 1 red, 1 black, 1 brown, 1 blue and 2 earths in the switch

How will the outside light get power using the 1mm cable, do I need anything else?

you will have to connect to a ceiling rose, not a switch. Your light switch has a live and a switched live, but no Neutral.

or you could use an FCU with a 5A or 3A fuse, off the socket circuit.

Lights are not on rings.
