Just fitted a new electric shower......straight replacement (exact same shower)for old one, but when i switch the shower on the power light on the shower goes off and nothing happens. The pull cord power indicator still shows as ok . Please help .....thank you.

Just a guess,but maybe the connections are different on the new one.Power light ON when turned off is not right.
