Hi,

Need some help please.

We have a Triton Ivory II electric shower, and it isn't working. :(

We have a pull cord to turn on outside shower, then you have to turn knob on unit for it to work.

The light is coming on on the pull cord to say there is power, but when you turn knob nothing happens. the power light on the unit doesn't come on.

There is obviously nothing wrong with the power to the cord, but something in the shower.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be???

Thanks
Danielle

Check the wiring from the load in the double pole switch to the wiring of the shower making sure all connections are sound.
TURN OFF POWER FIRST :D

The shower uses mains water and the first positon when you turn the control knob thro' 90 degrees is for cold water only. Hot water is related to positions 3 and 4. If there is no cold water, then I would concentrate on the electrically operated solinoid valve. Check the solinoid for continuity. If thats ok, then either electric is not getting to the solinoid or the neutral return is at fault. My gut feeling is 'faulty solinoid' had one or two faulty ones on washing machines
