Power Shower with speedfit

i have just installed my power shower , i have run the the hot feed in speed fit from the copper hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard i `T`d off the pipe on the cylinder in copper and then used a short length approx 9 inches straight copper and then did the rest in speed fit is this okay as i was very limited for space used pipe inserts and the twist lock speed fit elbows etc by JG

Sounds horrible, but if it works it works.

Did you use the correct method of connection to your cylinder?

Otherwise you'll get air ingress and kill the shower's pump.


And before you mention it - yes I know they're manuals for booster pumps. The practice should still be followed IMHO

yes correct method and all works fine .was more concerned about temperature problems on hot water and wether speedfit was suitable used like this

It should be fine. The higher the temperature the lower the pressure the pipe can withstand, but for your purposes it should be OK.
