Hi guys,

Is it possible to use JG speed fit fittings with Hep2O barrier pipe as long as I use the correct Hep2O pipe inserts?

Or is JG barrier pipe better than Hep2O barrier pipe?

Cheers,
Adam

15 or 22mm pipe is just that, whether its plastic or copper......

However, even if you pressure tested to the manufacturers requirements and a joint fails, both companies would blame the other. So, its up to you. The new Hep2o states to use their lube only for instance.

You are correct though you must use the relevant insert for that that brand of pipe.

Have to second Dreadnought's opinion I'm afraid, if you mix fittings and pipe you won't have a leg to stand on in the event of a warranty claim. Why don't you want to use the Hep2o fittings with Hep2o pipe?

Hep2o is more flexible than Speedfit which can make it easier to install.
