Power shower

My Triton Aquatronic IPS power shower has packed up today, switch it on and there is no water.

We're going to have a new bathroom fitted in a few months so I'm looking for a cheap fix this time round, I've google it and read about the solenoid value, mine has a resistance of 3.6k ohms, I'm thinking this is the cause of my problem but thought I'd ask?

Have you confirmed power is at the unit?

Yes it has power, shower worked this morning although thinking about it the water pressure seemed a little low

3.6kΩ is borderline, so that could be the reason that you have intermittent operation.

Replacement solenoid should cost around £25.00.
