Aquatronic 2 power shower

Hi
My daughter has just moved into a flat their is an aquatronic electric
shower fitted and it is completely dead
The power is on but their is no sign of any life on the red neon power light on the front of the shower
Also no water passes through it
Any one know where i can start in an effort to get it going for her

check the main mcb.
then check for power at pullcord.
then power at shower.

if you have no power neon on shower then you won't get any water pass through.

Ive checked all that
There is a neon light indicating power at the pull cord
and the main fuse board is intact

if the neon on the pullcord is lit and theirs 230v but not 230v at the shower then i would suspect the pullcord faulty.
try bypassing the pullcord.

either use the connections in the pullcord or a seperate chocbloc.
put the shower N, L into the N, L from the consumer unit.
that'll bypass the pullcord switch.

turn the mains off first.

first sign would be burnt wires/connections in the pullcord.
